NJCAA Region 13 launches new website

Rochester, MN - A new website will inform Minnesota, North Dakota, and Michigan sports fans about their favorite two-year college athletic teams. National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 13 has announced the release of its new website at NJCAARegion13.org. In collaboration with PrestoSports, the website features stories, schedules, awards, and outstanding athletes from the NJCAA Region 13 colleges.

The NJCAA is divided into 24 regions within the contiguous United States. Region 13 is comprised of NJCAA DI, DII, and DIII community and technical college athletic programs from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC), the Mon-Dak Athletic Conference, and two independent colleges - Dakota County Technical College and Gogebic Community College.

NJCAA Region 13 is nationally known for its success in athletic competition and academics. Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) won the 2023 NJCAA DIII Women's Basketball National Championship, and North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) claimed the 2023 NJCAA DIII Softball National Championship. NDSCS was the 2023 NJCAA DIII Football National Runner-Up, and Minnesota West was the 2023 NJCAA DIII Women's Basketball Runner-Up. Over 1,000 student-athletes throughout Region 13 earned academic awards in their respective conferences during the 2022-23 academic year.

NJCAA Region 13 Men's Director, Kurt Kohler, said about the new website, "Launching this website after several months of planning is exciting for our region. PrestoSports is the industry-leading sports technology platform, and they have spent many hours working toward this launch. I appreciate their help in setting up the website. Contributions from athletic directors around Region 13 also helped build the website, and I appreciate the stories they shared and suggestions they've made to get us to this point."

Check out the new website for upcoming schedules, results, and stories about Region 13 college athletic programs and student-athletes.
